English Vietnamese Translator with Voice App Reviews

The application description claims that the program will be able to read sentences out in Vietnamese -- however, when I tried to have the program read out the sentence I translated from English, the result was an unintelligible jumble of sounds.

Im sorry, but when I typed an English, sentence, it simply read the sentence back to me in English and didnt translate anything!

Doesnt work! Do Apple even review apps to make sure that they work!

Downloaded this despite reviews but Im desperate for a translator to help me take care of my predominantly Vietnamese population. I just hope they fix this or at least create an ap w phonetic translation!

Its ok to have but not good to use. Vietnamese keyboard is really small to see and touch. Not a smooth translation even with a simple sentence.

This was a total waste of money. The translation is hit or miss, especially for phrases. The reader voice does not actually pronounce the words but spells each letter instead. Who the heck was in charged of approving this app? Whats the matter with you? I want my money back!

The voice translation sounds like a bad robot. It dont sound natural in any way. Ive already deleted it from my iPhone, and I just bought it. Total waste of time and money.

This program is 100% useless. The description when buying is false advertising. When using the application the translator which is supposed to speak the translation is a computer generated voice that merely reads out each letter. I am very disappointed and want my money back. Do Not Buy This App.

I got the app so I could translate between English & Vietnamese and communicate with a new family member. But when I typed, for example, "How are you?" in the English box and clicked the "translate" button, "How are you?" also showed up in the Vietnamese box—in ENGLISH, not Vietnamese. Im not sure how to get my $1.99 refund, but Im sure itll take far more than $1.99 worth of energy to do so. Now think of how many others are like me and think its not worth the fight to try to get my money back. These people are eating lobster and steak every night and laughing at us! For THAT reason, if it takes $200 worth of energy to be heard and get my refund, I will do it—and you should too, if youve already purchased the app. Crap like this shouldnt be allowed on the App Store!
